Are you tired of dark circles or seams under your eyes? Are you tired of looking old and tired? With our tear trough treatment with filler we can remove this and give you a more alert look - read more about how you can look younger with a treatment that takes no more than approx. 30 minutes!
Tear Trough is a treatment in which 1ml of Teosyal Redensity 2 hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the under-eye indentations to restore lost volume.
The eyes are the center of the face, and this is usually where the first signs of aging occur. The signs of aging appear e.g. in the form of under-eye indentation and "crows" next to the eye. Check-ins are treated with rags, and "crows" are treated with Botox.
The treatment is done by first consulting with a cosmetic nurse. This is intended to gather information about your medical history and what results you want to achieve. In addition, you will receive information about anticipated side effects and what you should do before and after treatment.
After a consultation hour, the treatment area is prepared. When the treatment starts you will get one sting approx. 3 cm under each eye. Then, a blunt needle is used to inject the filler under the muscle to restore volume. The use of blunt needle will reduce the risk of swelling and bruising.
The entire treatment is completed in approx. 30 minutes.
The Tear Trough treatment makes you look younger, more alert and rested. Many who struggle with dark rings under their eyes will also find that the rings disappear.
Expected duration of this treatment is up to 12 months.
A common side effect is swelling in the area. The swelling is greatest for the first 24 hours, but then the swelling will gradually disappear. Bruising may occur, but it is harmless and disappears completely within days.
The treatment exposes the patient to a number of rare side effects such as: persistent swelling, asymmetry, persistent skin discoloration (gray, blue or reddish discoloration), abscesses (boils, cavities filled with pus), infection, granuloma (knots consisting of granular tissue), hypersensitivity in one area, scarring, allergic reactions with itching, swelling and in very rare cases anaphylaxis. Indurations (hardening) or nodules may be developed at the injection site.
